Colin G. Galloway is an associate at Flicker, Kerin, Kruger & Bissada LLP. He has experience in both the public and private sectors of family law. Currently practicing exclusively in family law, Mr. Galloway handles a variety of matters related to dissolution, including high-asset property characterization and division, premarital and postnuptial agreements, property transmutation issues, support, custody and visitation, and post-judgment modification. He is a member of the State Bar of California, as well as the Contra Costa County Bar Association and Alameda County Bar Association.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Galloway spent several years developing his legal skills as a law clerk in the fields of estate planning and family law. He also spent several years working for state courts in both Nevada and California. This experience centered around the self-help centers in the family law divisions, where he helped low-income and self-represented individuals navigate the intricacies and complexities of the laws, court rules, and processes and procedures. This experience with the courts allowed Mr. Galloway to work closely with different attorneys, judges, and members of the public. Combined with his propensity for helping others, Mr. Galloway creates an open and welcoming environment for all his clients as he assists them in navigating critical times in their lives.
Mr. Galloway earned his Juris Doctorate with a specialization in family law from Golden Gate University School of Law in May of 2020. Pagano Dean’s Merit Scholarship and had consistent appearances on the Dean’s List. He graduated from University of Nevada Reno, Reno, NV with a BA degree in Criminal Justice.
In his free time, you can find Mr. Galloway shredding the slopes at some of his favorite Lake Tahoe ski/snowboard resorts, making an occasional par at your local golf course, or hanging out with family and friends simply enjoying their presence.
