Katelyn Benage

Associate Attorney

Katelyn Benage is an associate attorney, who practices family law exclusively. Ms. Benage assists clients with all of their family law needs, including high-asset property division, domestic violence restraining orders, high-conflict custody and visitation, child and spousal support, paternity, and prenuptial agreements.

Ms. Benage graduated from the University of Oregon with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy and a minor in Business Administration. After working as a legal assistant for almost a year after graduation, Ms. Benage attended Willamette University College of Law and earned her Juris Doctor in 2017. During law school, Ms. Benage worked as a student-attorney in her law school’s legal clinic, helping business owners and non-profit organizations with their legal needs. For her work, Ms. Benage received the Outstanding Legal Writing and Best Client Management awards. Ms. Benage’s advocacy, leadership, and social skills also helped her become President of the Student Bar Association.

Ms. Benage brings an understanding to the sensitive nature of a divorce involving children and works closely with her clients to ensure that their needs are met. Ms. Benage also enjoys using her education in business to develop the best strategy for each client’s financial goals. Ms. Benage was selected by her peers to Super Lawyers® Rising Stars for 2019-2020.

One of Ms. Benage’s lifelong passions is music education. She serves on the Board of Directors for Young Musicians & Artists, a resident music and arts camp, where she previously worked as a camp counselor for a decade. In her spare time, Ms. Benage enjoys gardening, baking, and traveling with friends and family.
