Ms. Estacio Yip delivers seasoned insight in high-asset and complex dissolution matters involving business valuations, equity compensation, spousal support, and property division. She offers significant expertise in prenuptial and postnuptial agreements. 

Born into humble beginnings as a first-generation professional, Ms. Estacio Yip overcame significant life challenges through perseverance and an unwavering work ethic. Her upbringing instilled in her a deep sense of resilience, initiative, and empathy—qualities that now define her approach to legal advocacy. She understands firsthand the importance of determination and hard work, which fuels her commitment to supporting clients facing life’s most difficult transitions.

Ms. Estacio Yip has been honored as a Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2024, a distinction awarded to only a select percentage of attorneys each year. She was also recognized by Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in America in 2025 for her exceptional work in family law.

Early in her career, Ms. Estacio Yip served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Richard C. Darwin and the Honorable Michael I. Begert at the Unified Family Court in San Francisco. During her externship, she deepened her understanding of the judiciary’s perspective and assisted with cases involving divorce, child custody and support, spousal support, arrearages, and domestic violence.

Ms. Estacio Yip earned her Juris Doctorate with honors from Golden Gate University School of Law, graduating in the top 10% of her class and completing the prestigious Honors Lawyering Program. Her academic excellence was recognized with a Witkin Award in Criminal Procedure and consistent placements on the Dean’s List. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, graduating magna cum laude from San Francisco State University.

Beyond her legal career, Ms. Estacio Yip is a strong advocate for mental health awareness and well-being, recognizing its critical role in both personal and professional success. She values balance, self-care, and perseverance, encouraging those around her to prioritize their mental and emotional health. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their three young sons. She stays active by exercising daily and participating in marathons.
